From Sarah Pugh, HCA

Back in December of 2017 after a personal interest I completed a lengthy course for Mental Health first aid. My role here at The Lennard is to see and signpost our patients through wellbeing services available to them, in no way am I trained councillor but I do have the experience and guidance to ensure you are heard and helped the in right way.

I am allocated longer appointments to listen and address any issues effecting mental health. These areas include things such as depression, low mood, anxiety , low self-esteem , difficultly sleeping and bereavement.

I am here to encourage a self-referral to the appropriate support network, help with lifestyle changes such a weight management and increasing activity providing support for as long as it needed. Fit notes for work can be issued as well as arranged follow ups with either myself or your usual GP, each consult is individual to a patient’s needs.

An appointment with me can be made via ringing reception asking to see Sarah ( Mental Health Support Worker).

Here are the links with the services we encourage and well as some excellent resources for information.
