Routine Appointments

These are appointments for the treatment of ongoing medical issues. It is better if you see the same GP each time so please be aware of the days that your doctor works.

All of these appointments are bookable in advance, either Online or by Telephone.

If you feel that you need more time to discuss a problem, please book a double appointment. We ask that you be punctual and make one appointment for each person to be seen.

We will try to ensure that you are seen on time, but some consultations take longer than others and unforeseen emergencies can occur.

We are working together with other local practices to offer more appointments in the early mornings, evenings or at weekends. Speak to a member of the practice team to find out more.

Same Day Urgent Appointments These are 10 minute appointments for the treatment of new problems. We will try to ensure that this is with your Usual GP but this is not always guaranteed.

They are for 1 problem only and patients are asked to kindly respect this rule to ensure that the session runs on time.

Some problems may be dealt with by a telephone consultation rather than a face to face consult.

Same Day appointment requests can be made by telephone only. Please do not come in person to the surgery.

Telephone Consultations

If you require a telephone consultation, please contact the surgery from 8:30am and a GP will ring you back at the end of surgery. Please note that when the doctor telephones you back it may come up as "private number".  These are not pre bookable.

Please telephone 0117 964 2211 at all times. Between 7.00pm and 8.00 am and during weekends there will be a recorded message giving details of the Out Of Hours GP Service. Please use this service for emergencies only and not for problems which can wait for the next available surgery.

During the Covid-19 Pandemic all GP appointment requests will be telephone triaged first. Please ring the surgery from 8.30am and the Reception team will arrange a Same Day telephone call with your usual GP. The GP will make arrangements if they need to see you in the Practice on a face - to - face appointment. Please note - these telephone calls are not pre bookable.
