Coronavirus (Covid-19)

  • PLease do not book a GP appointment or attend your GP Practice if you have symptoms associated with coronavirus including a new continuous cough and a high temperature. You are advised to stay at home for 7 days.

  • If your symptoms are serious, or get worse, NHS 111 has an online coronavirus service that can tell you if you need further medical help and advise you what to do. 

  • Only call 111 direct if you cannot go online, or are advised to do so by the online service.

Inaccurate information circulating regarding special ‘rescue packs’ for patients with pre-existing respiratory conditions

We have been made aware of some inaccurate information circulating regarding special ‘rescue packs’ for patients with pre-existing respiratory conditions such as asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

Please do not contact your GP practice for a rescue pack. You should continue to manage your condition in the usual way and if you feel you have symptoms of COVID-19, go to https://111.nhs.uk/covid-19 before doing anything else.

For patients with pre-existing respiratory conditions such as asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

Please do not contact your GP practice for a rescue pack. You should continue to manage your condition in the usual way and if you feel you have symptoms of COVID-19, go to https://111.nhs.uk/covid-19 before doing anything else.

  • All pre bookable GP appointments available on line – but will be reviewed by Health Navigation team who may suggest a more appropriate service
  • Same day appointments for new medical issues (booked by telephone call)

Welcome to The Lennard Surgery Online

At The Lennard Surgery in Bristol the doctors and nurses take pride in offering the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare. The practice was founded fifty years ago in Hartcliffe by Dr Michael Lennard and his wife, Dr. Joan Lennard, and moved to the present purpose built premises at Bedminster Down in 1984. The Lennard Surgery serves the area of Bedminster Down, Bishopsworth and other districts within the BS13 postcode area.

We offer a full general practice service and run specialist clinics for children and pregnant women, diabetes and other chronic disease sufferers and for patients needing minor surgery.

Appointments Online and Repeat Prescriptions

You will need to register for Patient Access. 

To register, please provide proof of identify to our reception staff, who will issue you with the documentation required to access the system.

Registering for Patient Access will give you access to online booking of appointments, ordering repeat prescriptions and will also give you access to some of your medical records. The prescription ordering is simple to use as all you will need to do is click on the items you require.
