Ordering repeat prescriptions
We DO NOT accept prescription requests over the telephone. You have 4 options:
- Post your written prescription request to the surgery address, post your prescription through the post box which is located at the front gate of the surgery entrance or through the prescription box inside reception. (Our post box and prescription post box is emptied 3x daily).
- Download NHS App and request your medication (you will need patient access to link your account to the surgery).
- Order your repeat medications online through patient access. If you have not registered for patient access you can do so by speaking with one of our Care Navigators, who will then issue you with the relevant documentation to get you started on the system. See link for more info.
- Order via your pharmacy and to speak to them about the process.
When ordering your repeat prescription through NHS App or patient access you can ONLY order medication which is on your repeat medication list. Please note any other messages/requests will not be seen or actioned.
Please allow 3 working days for your prescription to be issued and sent to your chosen pharmacy. Please check with your chosen pharmacy of their process time and ensure you allow enough time for your medication to be processed. Most pharmacies have a 7 working day process period.
You can collect your prescription from reception or one of the local pharmacies if you let us know your pharmacy of choice.
